That's how far along I am today! I went to 40+6 with Elyse and was induced at that, so we shall see what this little girl wants to do as far as making an appearance.
I've been awoken the last 3 nights (hence why I am even up right now while the rest of the house still slumbers) with contractions, but despite up to several hours of having them, thus far, they have always puttered to a halt just in time to leave me rather tired to start the day. I'm well aware of the exhaustion and sleep deprivation a newborn causes but this seemingly lengthy early/false labor leaving me fatigued for days has caught me by surprise. I do, however, trust that despite what it may seem like to me, preparation is being accomplished within my body according to it's design and purpose in the process.
It's a big day in the Borrack house. Elyse starts her first day of "preschool" today. It's more of a "mom's morning out program" 2 mornings a week for just a couple of hours but we are all very excited about it. She didn't want to leave when we met her teachers on Monday and has her backpack hanging on her closet handle ready to go. I think she and I will both benefit greatly from this time. Elyse truly loves being around other kids and I feel it will be a beneficial time for me in adjusting to having a new baby in the house. I'm hoping to get errands or appointments done with just one child during those hours or perhaps even a nap for the first couple of months.
My mind is a little too foggy to think of much more than this but hopefully I will be able to post before too long about our birth story for this little one.

About Me
- Ursula
- This blog is my hope to somehow capture moments that would have otherwise passed unnoticed, gone by simply dismissed as mundane life. I'm just a girl who adores her husband, I love the job I get paid for and am inspired by the ones I don't. I love that God has designed my life as a perfect fit for me and today I get to live it!

Hi Ursula, sorry I've been away since you commented on my blog. I pray that you are able to have this baby soon!
Oil of Lemon Verbena, is just an essential oil. Any place that sells essential oils, like health food stores, herbal stores (would be better than a health food store) sell essential oils. Normally essential oils are not taken internally, that's why it would be better if it was from a store that specializes in herbs and essential oils, so you know you are getting a premium product and not something cut with turpentine (some health food stores would sell this). I think it is quite expensive, and in some cases you can just by 1 ml at a time or even so may drops...which would be more economical. Let me know how this goes. Nice to meet you!
