29 weeks....

and absolutely perfect!!!! She weighs nearly 3 pounds, is approximately 15 inches long, and is the size of a butternut squash! We had another perfect visit at the doctors on Friday and my visits will now be every 2 weeks. The doctor was once again complimentary of how well I've done and how good I continue to look both physically pregnant and on paper. I passed the glucose test and my iron level is wonderful, my weight gain is 5 lbs below the average at this stage, and I'm still very active. I've come to find that I greatly need encouragement and positive affirmation like this....it really means a lot. No matter how good I look on paper, I don't always feel it. Fortunately I have a doting husband and overly complimentary friends that lift me up just when I need it.

This glimpse of our daughter definitely made the discomfort that I know will come tonight even more worthwhile. She is a mover and a shaker and we could not be more thankful for those meaningful movements.

These are not professional ultrasounds, just me playing with the machine, but I was blown away by this one. This is her beautiful little face with her hand up by her head on the left (her right). You can even make out her cute little nose and chubby cheeks. She actually opened and closed her eyes while I was peeking....incredible!

The next one is her cute little foot and long perfect leg. Her legs work well, my insides and wave pool looking belly can testify to that.

About Me

My photo
This blog is my hope to somehow capture moments that would have otherwise passed unnoticed, gone by simply dismissed as mundane life. I'm just a girl who adores her husband, I love the job I get paid for and am inspired by the ones I don't. I love that God has designed my life as a perfect fit for me and today I get to live it!
