Progress

Her window treatment is finally up. After all my troubles with the rod, Matt got it up for me himself this weekend. I had been having such a hard time finding the perfect color and design of drape in the price range I was willing to pay...until I changed where I was looking. This is actually a cloth shower curtain and I used jewel adorned rings to hang it on the rod....I'm really pleased with the look for the price. The picture doesn't do it justice, it looks better when you can see the whole room together, but either way, I'm glad it's done.

I hung some decorative shelves that I've had for a little while and also got her video baby monitor installed and functioning. Now I can sit and watch her empty crib from the living room....very exciting to say the least.

These weren't big things that I accomplished, but they were just a couple things that had been hanging over my head. I took the day slow, didn't get overwhelmed and got done what I could get done in time to still enjoy a 3 hour dinner with Kristin. I liked the pace of my day. Not everything is done, not even close actually, but I feel good and I enjoyed my day.

About Me

My photo
This blog is my hope to somehow capture moments that would have otherwise passed unnoticed, gone by simply dismissed as mundane life. I'm just a girl who adores her husband, I love the job I get paid for and am inspired by the ones I don't. I love that God has designed my life as a perfect fit for me and today I get to live it!
