Due date!

This was just flashing on the little screen at us when we woke up today. No confetti, bells, whistles, or happy birthday songs. It doesn't look like it will start to count up either. It's bitter sweet to see this little clock's time end....we had so much fun watching the numbers ever so slowly dwindle in anticipation, but it's wonderful to know we will be meeting our daughter any day now. I'm starting to think she will take after me...I tend to run late getting places, it looks like little Elyse will too.

I've been off work for 2 weeks now and these days of just waiting to see if each contraction or twinge I get is "the one" to get things in motion causes the days to go by so slowly. Don't get me wrong, I've greatly enjoyed this time to myself and getting things caught up at the house, but frankly, I'm getting a little bored. I'll have to think of something different to do today...that should be fun!
