Random updates

We had some relatively decent weather (for Florida in July that is) on Monday so I decided to take Elyse for our first jog. This was her first time in this stroller because I was afraid she was much too little for it, but with the snuzzler she looked quite comfortable. I love that she looks like she's trying to eat the watermelon on her shirt in this picture! When we went it was warm to say the least, but there was a nice breeze, it was late in the day, and the humidity was lower than usual so she tolerated it well. Having a Florida summer baby has it's pros's and con's....I'm thankful she wasn't born during flu season and we don't have to worry about constantly bundling her to keep her warm, but the heat is a concern in and off itself. I try to take her out in small doses to help her acclimate to it.

On another note, Matt is taking a client to the Ray's game tonight. Oh how I wish I could go with him, but it was short notice which makes it hard to get a nearby sitter, especially when we've never left her before. We are both feeling comfortable with the thought though, so hopefully a baby-free outing will be in our near future. Since I couldn't go with him I decided to get in the spirit of things here at home, so here is Elyse with her "Ray's hawk", pj's, baseball, and all.
After a friend suggested it, we just recently graduated from bath hammock to bath tub and Elyse enjoys her getting clean MUCH more now.

About Me

My photo
This blog is my hope to somehow capture moments that would have otherwise passed unnoticed, gone by simply dismissed as mundane life. I'm just a girl who adores her husband, I love the job I get paid for and am inspired by the ones I don't. I love that God has designed my life as a perfect fit for me and today I get to live it!
