It's funny how fast my idea of "romance" changed. Matt got up last night and fed Elyse for me at about 3:30 this morning to give me a stretch of uninterrupted sleep. I think that's just about the sweetest thing he could have possibly done for me and meant so much more than dinner, cards, flowers, etc. He gave me the gift of sleep and I am grateful beyond words.
We are going to attempt a trip to the mall today and possibly dinner out. We have no preconceived expectations though, after all she is just a newborn and you can't expect miracles. We're just going to see how it goes.
